SV	Maar Jonathan had het niet gehoord, toen zijn vader het volk bezworen had, en hij reikte het einde van den staf uit, die in zijn hand was, en hij doopte denzelven in een honigraat; als hij nu zijn hand tot zijn mond wendde, zo werden zijn ogen verlicht.
WLC	וְיֹונָתָ֣ן לֹֽא־שָׁמַ֗ע בְּהַשְׁבִּ֣יעַ אָבִיו֮ אֶת־הָעָם֒ וַיִּשְׁלַ֗ח אֶת־קְצֵ֤ה הַמַּטֶּה֙ אֲשֶׁ֣ר בְּיָדֹ֔ו וַיִּטְבֹּ֥ל אֹותָ֖הּ בְּיַעְרַ֣ת הַדְּבָ֑שׁ וַיָּ֤שֶׁב יָדֹו֙ אֶל־פִּ֔יו [וַתָּרֹאנָה כ] (וַתָּאֹ֖רְנָה ק) עֵינָֽיו׃
Trans.	wəywōnāṯān lō’-šām^a‘ bəhašəbî‘a ’āḇîw ’eṯ-hā‘ām wayyišəl^aḥ ’eṯ-qəṣēh hammaṭṭeh ’ăšer bəyāḏwō wayyiṭəbōl ’wōṯāh bəy^a‘əraṯ hadəḇāš wayyāšeḇ yāḏwō ’el-pîw watārō’nâ watā’ōrənâ ‘ênāyw:

AC	כז ויונתן לא שמע בהשביע אביו את העם וישלח את קצה המטה אשר בידו ויטבל אותה ביערת הדבש וישב ידו אל פיו ותראנה (ותארנה) עיניו
ASV	But Jonathan heard not when his father charged the people with the oath: wherefore he put forth the end of the rod that was in his hand, and dipped it in the honeycomb, and put his hand to his mouth; and his eyes were enlightened.
BE	But Jonathan, having no knowledge of the oath his father had put on the people, stretching out the rod which was in his hand, put the end of it in the honey, and put it to his mouth; then his eyes were made bright.
Darby	But Jonathan had not heard when his father adjured the people; and he put forth the end of his staff which was in his hand, and dipped it in the honeycomb, and put his hand to his mouth, and his eyes became bright.
ELB05	Jonathan aber hatte es nicht gehört, als sein Vater das Volk beschwor; und er streckte das Ende seines Stabes aus, der in seiner Hand war, und tauchte ihn in den Honigseim und brachte seine Hand wieder zu seinem Munde, und seine Augen wurden hell.
